This is not the scene you want to come home to.

The other day while I was at Young Womens, Scot was getting the oldest two boys out of the shower. For some unknown reason, the glass shower door shattered into a thousand pieces on them. Scot, Braxton and Michael all got cut by the glass, but are just fine. We did make a trip to the ER that night and realized how all of them were truly protected. Most of the blood was Scot's, his vein in his hand got nicked. Michael got his little feet all cut up trying to run across the glass. It took us hours to get this mess cleaned up (the next day of course). Once again though, all is well, the boys were super brave and Scot took care of everything beautifully.

Hooray for the 1st day of school. I love the first day of school and all the excitement. I love getting the school supplies and seeing the bus pull up. I love making snacks and seeing backpacks and homework. And, I absolutely love hearing about the school day from my boys and all the wonderful things they get to do. Braxton and Michael have great teachers and great classes this year. Braxton is complaining a little bit about going all day, but sure loves taking hot lunch and having 2 recesses. Michael is making lots of new friends.

Braxton is 7 years old now. He had a great birthday. He had to have breakfast burritos in the morning and wanted ice cream cookie sandwiches for his cake. He got everything he asked for (he was quite specific this year) and even got a trip to Silverwood. We sure love Braxton and wish him the Happiest Birthday.

Our day at Silverwood, a big theme park in Idaho. The boys had a great day riding rides and eating cotton candy and snow cones. The rollercoasters were a big hit. The big ones scared Braxton and Michael to death and Corvin loved the little baby rollercoaster, laughing and smiling the whole time.

As many of you know, we are expecting our 4th boy in December. I thought this blinkie was appropriate, GO TEAM BLUE!

BE PREPARED FOR AN ONSLAUGHT OF PICTURES... Our family took our annual summer trip to visit family in Utah. It was a grand 3 weeks that were filled to the brim with fun activities. We took quite a few mini-vacations within a vacation. And despite some long car rides and a very cranky baby at times, we sure enjoyed our time with our families. So, to start out, we celebrated Corvin's 1st birthday. He got to celebrate with all his family and be messy with his desserts. Corvin is such a beautiful boy who is so full of personality. The best word I can think to describe him (and be nice about it) is BUSY. That boy is always busy doing something. He mostly likes to follow his older brothers around and do as they do. He is a happy little boy who gives the best smiles and makes everyone laugh. Happy Birthday Corvin!

Our first outing while in Utah was the Pettey's cabin at Fish Lake. We spent a few days down there, fishing, hiking, relaxing and playing with Scot's parents.

Poor Scot had to row the boat back to shore in a rain storm when they couldn't get it to start. Michael was a little upset at this point of the fishing trip.

The pirates were at Fish Lake and left their treasure. The boys had a blast following the clues and finding the treasure for themselves.
