We carved pumpkins for Family Home Evening this week. The boys would have nothing to do with the insides of the pumpkins. They made Mom and Dad clean them out. Braxton and Michael did design the faces, both wanted them to look very scary. I think they did a pretty good job.

We are moving!!! Scot has finally decided to take a job at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. So, once again we will traverse the country when he graduates. We thought we would let you know.

Here is a little Halloween preview. I had to do this for my Dad and brothers. I think they will really appreciate Michael dressed as Tinkerbell. Are you jealous Brett? We have this cute Peter Pan costume and borrowed the Tinkerbell costume from a friend just so we could take this cute picture.

This is a little slideshow of our day at the Virginia State Fair. A sweet friend gave us tickets and we had such a fun time. The boys absolutely loved all the rides, especially the roller coaster and the slide. We had to drag Braxton down the slide first, but after that he wanted to do it more. The boys thought the rollercoaster was great as well. They would knock down other children just to be in the front seat. They had a Demolition Derby, which we called the Crash-Up, Smash-Up Derby. Everyone loved it, except Michael. He was so upset that the cars were crashing and rolling over. He cried hard, and eventually I had to leave with him and we went to see the Cowboys ride. We had fun seeing the animals, especially the baby ones and really had a great day that wore us out completely.

Braxton and Michael did some wonderful painting in the driveway (and on their bodies). I was painting part of our porch and they wanted some of the action. I got this great outdoor paint set with paints, rollers and the tray for $2 at Toys R' Us. What a great find!
