Summer is finally here and I had to post a few pictures to commemorate. Summer did not show up in Spokane until about July 7th. Now we are in the warm outdoors doing some of the great summer activities; swimming, bubbles, slip n' slide, biking and of course, getting injuries. Here is some of our summer fun and Michael's summer shiner.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

We all hope you enjoyed celebrating our nation's birthday. Here is our lame attempt at a few sparklers.

Michael has conquered the two-wheeler. We let him start practicing after he turned 5 and he is now a master. Great job bud.

Here we are at Lake Chelan in Washington on our little camping trip. The trip was not as much fun as we had hoped. We had to deal with mosquitos, foul-mouthed teenagers in the neighboring camp, moving campsites too many times and too much driving, not to mention the cooler weather than expected. Corvin did not sleep well in the car or tent and it made for a very cranky boy who was not allowed to crawl around camp. We will just have to try again another time. We did get a few pics that made it look fun.

We tried to stop for ice-cream on the way home, but the store had closed down. We had to settle for the bench outside the gas station with a few frozen treats. Notice Corvin with one in his hand. Scot was not too pleased with me that I just gave it to him. What a mess, mostly on Scot's shorts.

The boys had a good time at the beach, especially Corvin who loved playing in the sand and water. He threw quite the fit when we took him away.

School is finally out and Braxton needed a haircut. Somehow he talked me into shaving his hair into a pseudo mohawk. He loves it and does it up with tons of gel each day. I didn't think I would let it go this long, but he still has it.
