CORVIN JAX TURNS 2. Corvin loves anything to do with cars, trucks, trains, and more cars. Needless to say, he got a lot of car stuff for his birthday, even a mini car cake. He loved blowing out the candles (we did this numerous times) and playing with his new cars.

How do you get a wiggly tooth out? Use pliers.

If that doesn't work, employ your brother with a set of pliers.

(Seriously, this was freaking me out).

In the end, none of it worked and he still has a loose front tooth.

Happy Summer to Everyone!

Zander baby hanging out at the lake. This is a classic Alexander face. He is actually being happy, but he scrunches up his fat little face and it makes him look mad or something. The little tongue always comes out too and it is the funniest thing you will ever see.

We tried to spend the day at the lake, but it was way too cold. Still the boys had fun making mud pies and finding a log to boat around on. I had a little trouble finding the lake while driving and got this comment from Michael, "Good job on getting us lost Mom" followed by Braxton's comment of "Doesn't Dad have his GPS?"

On the way home from our biking trip, we asked Braxton to hand Corvin a toy to play with because he was being cranky. This is the 'toy' he handed to him. Actually it made Corvin pretty happy, so we let him play with the bike wheels.

My favorite summer activity so far...biking the Hiawatha Trail. This used to be an old railroad track that they have more recently turned into a biking trail. It starts in Montana and ends in Idaho. We were able to wind through 10 tunnels and 7 high trestles that are over 100 years old. One tunnel that we went through is the Taft Tunnel, which is 1.8 miles long. It was weird to be riding in the dark with just flashlights to light the way. There were streams on the sides and stalactites on the ceiling. The scenery was absolutely amazing and I am so proud of Braxton and Michael for completing the 17 mile trip. Corvin and Alexander did great too in the bike trailer.

Our summer finally came. The boys got out the little pool to play in. My peonys finally bloomed.
