Our Summer Days...

Of course we have had pool time. The weather has been just great here in Spokane and we have the baby pool set on the deck. They also enjoy the sprinkler under the tramp and washing their bikes with the hose. A friend of mine told me about free bowling for kids this summer. If you go to www.kidsbowlfree.com they have bowling alleys that give kids 2 free games per day in the summer. You do have to pay for shoes, but it sure is a lot of fun. The boys keep asking when we can go again.

This is one of the many Michael summer injuries. We sure have a lot. That boy has so many bumps, cuts, bruises and band-aids, well it looks plain awful. That or it just looks like a boy being active in the summer. This one involved his brother and the cord on the blinds. I have yet to get a clear story from the boys. At one point, Michael told someone asking that his brother sawed his neck. Sounds great huh. All is healed now and we are on to other injuries.

Scot had a few days off and we were able to go camping at Lake Chelan, Wa. We had a great time swimming, playing, roasting marshmallows and being a family. We had a perfect campsite, perfect weather and no bugs. On the way home we stopped at Grand Coulee Dam and stayed for the laser show.

Michael and Braxton have signed up to take summer sports classes. Michael chose to do soccer and Braxton is practicing baseball. They sure are cute to watch and they are doing very well.

Here are some pictures from our fun trip to Utah. The little boys and I headed down to Utah a few days early to attend my brother's graduation. Congrats Brett. The boys then got to go down to Fish Lake with the Pettey's and they had a blast. Mom enjoyed and worried about being so far away from them. Scot arrived and we went with the Everills to St. George, Sand Hollow, the Coral Pink Sand dunes, and through Zion's and to Bryce National Park. We got to go boating, 4-wheeling, jump off dunes, swim in the hotel pool and best of all, play with family. We had a great time, although we may have spent more of it in the car travelling than anything. Braxton and Michael are still very upset with us for taking them away from grandpa and grandma and cousins and their favorite Utah.

This was Michael waiting on the 4-wheeler for a ride. That was all he wanted to do and asked constantly. Nothing made Michael happier.

The boys want to go 4-wheeling again so bad. They had a blast.

We went to a little fair in Riverton to watch Lindsey dance. The boys got to do some rock climbing and were amazing.
