Braxton surprised me by doing a magic trick. He put six pencils through a baggie of water without any water leaking out. He was amazing.

We spent a wonderful weekend in Portland, Oregon with family. We got to see the beach (where we were secretly hoping to see a tsunami), went through some beautiful forests, saw awesome waterfalls, and swam in the hotel pool. We were privileged to see one of my brother's lacrosse games. That was the reason we went down and I sadly have no pictures of it. We sure enjoyed ourselves though.

We made quite a few stops along the Columbia River Gorge to visit the waterfalls. I still can't decide which one was my favorite. It was so beautiful and fun to share them with family.

I have to post about the great time the boys had at the Monster Truck show. Braxton and Michael love everything about Monster Trucks,

so when they came to town, Scot had to take them.

They really are big, aren't they? The boys got Pit Passes and were able to go see all the trucks and meet their drivers before the show started. How fun! Nothing like smashing and crushing cars. Gravedigger is their all time favorite. Every since we happened upon the Gravedigger shop and garage in North Carolina, they have been hooked ever since. What a kick to meet one of their drivers.

I just celebrated my birthday and turned way too old. I had to make my traditional cake that I have had every year since I turned one. I love it and start to crave it as my birthday draws near. Corvin thought the wrapping paper was so fun.

We took a great trip to an indoor water park. The boys had so much fun body boarding, going down the water slides and getting wet. It was great to have 85 degree temperatures in the middle of winter.
