In September we made a quick trip down to Utah for Scot's grandmother's funeral. His grandma was the sweetest lady ever known and she will be so missed. It was such a lovely funeral and I am glad the boys choose to go and say good-bye.

While we were there, we decided to spend an afternoon at the Utah State Fair.

 The boys raced ducks.  Braxton's duck actually won and he named his next duck Bob.

 You have to do the big slide whenever you are at the fair.

 We also caught some fish.  That is everyone except Mom.

Oh Happy Day!!! The 1st Day of School!!! Yes, I am singing those words!

Braxton celebrated his birthday!!

He wanted a cookie cake again this year.  It is his favorite he says.

Braxton had a Percy Jackson party with his friends.  Braxton loves, loves, loves the Percy Jackson books and was so excited when the second book was just made into a movie.  So we took all of his buddies and went to the movie theater and had a great time with popcorn and treats and the Sea of Monsters!

Braxton wanted crepes for breakfast.  He of course made his into a creeper from Minecraft.  I think that boy is mildly obsessed with that game.

Happy Birthday to our wonderful Braxton!!!!  Sorry you didn't get the BB gun your were asking for.

My brother and sister-in-law were able to be sealed in the temple.  So wonderful.

Michael got baptized.  So very wonderful.

Corvin celebrated his birthday and got everything he asked for.

We also missed taking pictures of parades, fireworks, waterpark visits, family reunions, BBQs, boating, and all other crazy family moments.  It was a great vacation though.

Notice that Braxton has his tongue sticking out of the side of his mouth, that means he is concentrating very hard.  You will see it often, mostly when he does sports or homework.
