The good ol' days of summer.

They are gone now. Here is a little of what we did before school days and homework set in.

Silverwood Theme Park.  We love to ride the rides.  Michael was the true daredevil this year.

Hiking Mt. Spokane and having lunch.

Biking the Hiawatha Trail.  This is a 17 mile old train trail that runs from Montana to Idaho.  We got to go through many tunnels and over tons of old bridges.  It is now our yearly tradition.

The boys love taking the bus that brings us back to our car at the end of the trail.

 One more day at the beach in Sandpoint.

 One last camping trip to hike and roast marshmallows.

Good bye Summer.  We miss you already.

What we are up to now....

Corvin being so cute and of course messy.

And being a little naughty of course.  They set up their mattresses and were sliding down the stairs.  It did provide a few hours of entertainment and only a few injuries.

We went 4-wheeling up at Soapstone. We had fun until we encountered a hail storm on our way back down from Alexander Lake.

Our Lake Powell vacation.

We discovered that Xander was happiest in a five-gallon bucket filled with water.  He would dunk himself and splash and laugh constantly.  Who knew.

Michael fell asleep mid-chip-grab.  Lake Powell sure wears you out, you can't even finish your snack.

We love to ride bikes in the summertime.

Corvin got a new bike and he is learning how to balance.

Golfing is especially fun.

Playing on the slides at one of the Spokane Indian baseball games.  I don't think we ever actually watched any of the game.

I wish I could zoom in and you could see Xanders huge smile.  He LOVES slides.
