Camping

We decided to get away for the weekend and go camping. Our family went down to Pochahontas State Park to roast marshmallows and sleep in the tent. We had such a nice time. Braxton and Michael loved playing outdoors and playing with the fire. They roasted some great smores and loved sleeping together as a family in the crowded tent. We did a small hike, played at a park there, and rented a paddleboat to cruise around the pond. We enjoyed seeing all the turtles and all that nature offered us. The best part was sitting around the campfire as a family.

Braxton just turned five. He celebrated his fun day with the family. He got to go shopping at Toys R' Us to pick out a new toy, had his favorite dinner (Hawaiian Haystacks) and insisted on a store-bought cake with lots of frosting. Here is a tiny video of him blowing out his candles...

Michael got to open a little present along with Braxton. It was a hard day for him when everything was centered on his brother. They both got 4-wheelers from Grandma Everill just like the 4-wheelers they rode while in Utah, even down to the exact same colors they choose to ride on. They absolutely loved them.
